With Maryland's win, who's out?

At 915pm, Joe Lunardi reports that 16 teams are vying for 5 teams.

Thoughts?

What needs to happen between now and 6pm on Sunday for Arizona to make the field?

Quick hits to an e-mail, a talking head, and a text ...

As of 925pm, Maryland is in (and safe) and Arizona is out. The Wildcats can find themselves back into the field if a team above them either loses or does not show enough. However, with Temple, Tulsa and Baylor having a chance to steal a bid, that makes the bubbly waters that much more murky.

On Lunardi's statement, I think there are more than 5 bids available. As of right now, no team beneath Oklahoma State is "safe" yet (except Maryland, who is in).

As a side note, I am amazed that it is still possible for the Big Ten to have 8 bids.

Why do you hate the SEC so much? 3 teams in the field. You didn't even have South Carolina in (although you look smart AFTER the fact) and Florida isn't even in your Next Four Out.

If my Aggies weren't screwed on Wednesday, they're screwed now.

I assume Baylor can only get in with a win tomorrow. If they do, do they claim what you have as A&M's spot?
