I really like the Clady pick though I doubt he falls to us.

If Fox is in place, I imagine he'll adopt a win-now attitude since he should've been fired yesterday. I could see us going after a defensive tackle or cornerback instead of Flacco.

That's a really good point about John Fox. To be honest, I wasn't thinking about that but I probably should have.

Perhaps, they may have gone after CB Branden Flowers from Va Tech or DT Pat Sims from Auburn. CB DeJuan Tribble from BC is one of my favorites, but he's a gambler's mentality.

The Panthers lost their toughness last season and it was not only because they were weak at the position that draws the most ire from critics (QB) following Delhomme's season-ending injury.

Bud Foster has been quoted countless times saying that CB Brandon Flowers is the best defender he's ever coached.

While that doesn't necessarily hold much weight come draft time, it's obvious Tech has produced some talented defenders; specifically at the CB position (DeAngelo Hall should come to mind first).

There are a ton of "gambler" CBs to check out.

I still remember Antoine Cason being projected as a top-10 potential pick all the way back in last September.

Talib is my highest upside guy.

Even if Assante leaves, the Pats know they can acquire CB depth later in the draft.

DT Pat Sims is definitely a steal at 51, in my opinion.

I would dance an Irish Jig if the Skins can land Sims at that pick.

And it's a sight. Ask everyone that saw me dance the Jig I danced when we drafted Sean Taylor (May he rest in peace).

Too bad you guys are all dumb and put two jake longs in there. And they are both defensive ends. You guys need to go find another profession.

If we're dumb, then what do you call ESPN and the NFL Network?

Professionals who do this for a living (all of us have day jobs - this is a hobby) have gotten Jake/Chris Long mixed up early and often in the draft season. The difference is that they have a full-time producer and production assistants in their earpiece correcting them on the fly.

Since you are a Rhodes scholar, you would know by the school and player position that this was a typographical error.

You can decide to appreciate the research and contribute to the marketplace of ideas, or sweat the small stuff. You have chosen the latter.
