Radio silence for several weeks and suddenly, after a Jet win (typical), I can't shutup suddenly, with 3 posts in less than 20 (not even 24!) hours.
Via the JetsBlog via Deadspin (worst guest hosts for the Dan Patrick Show ever)...
This overenthusiastic Jets fans was hauled out of Qualcomm Stadium yesterday for ...? We're not exactly sure, but when even the Chargers fans are defending his incessant hooting, you know something's fishy.
There is obviously something missing from this video, as we arrive in the middle of about half dozen security/police dudes trying to wrangle this guy to the ground. And he's not exactly being cooperative. But most of the fans around him don't seem happy to see him go. The police are heckled by what seems to be Charger fans and, at the end, one guy in a Chargers jersey appears to trade contact info with Jet Dude's female friend. Either to serve as a character witness or comfort her in her time of need, we may never know.
If you want a REAL laugh, check out the YouTube comments. It gets to a point where it sounds like the scene outside the courtroom in A Time to Kill. 90s flashback!!! 00s flashback may be better, though.Side note: The best comment I saw from a Charger fan on a message board:
"They arrested the wrong guy! Kaeding was still on the field."
For a closing shot, isn't it funny how Mike Vamderjagt was Nate Kaeding 5 years ago. Regular season percentages, no matter how high, mean D*CK when you're talking playoffs.

How come you're only covering the SD/NYJ game from the weekend? this page seems more like JETSsports. Would love to hear analysis on how Romo returned to playoff form and how the matchups look for next week.
Fantastic points. Let me address them.
1) First and foremost, you're extremely correct. The last almost-24 hours, it seems like a Jets blog. Believe me, there are better ones, too. MUCH better.
2) If you want analysis on Romo or next week, there are better sites. However, I'll be happy to throw out some thoughts later in the week. (That isn't to say not to check out this blog. However, it is a blog and not a polarizing media source. I appreciate your views, your comments (especially), and I sense you're smiling about the fate of Mr. Romo.
3) I'll tell you one thing about next week: it won't be chalk city. One way or another, one (or both?) of the home favorites (Colts by 7ish and Saints by 4ish) is going down.
Keep commenting and ask specifically what you'd like. Why? So I can write about stuff people enjoy. Not just what I enjoy.
Comments are too far inbetween on this blog. Perhaps because I talk too much about what I am thinking and not others.
For that, I'm sorry.
But I won't apologize for loving every second of this victory (or Charger GAG if you ask the mainstream media on the four-letter network...which is FINE with me, by the way).
Fortunately, you never asked me to.
Keep on reading (and please...commenting).
You'll hear from me later in the week.
If only to laugh at how hysterical Peyton Manning's ping pong commercials are.
The cops wouldn't do this kind of crap if they were in South America. The people there would destroy them. See how civilized our society is? I didn't hear anyone cheering the cops for taking him out? That proves he was doing nothing wrong. Without a doubt. Great video.
That pretty much confirms my view of cops.
This is a greeat blog
