1) How bad have things been for Stanford since the turn of the New Year? Especially that 30-point blowout to ASU and pair of 1-pt losses @ both Washington squads.
2) I like seeing the Big Ten being good at something, since football seems so foriegn to them.
3) How much damage to the Cuse could a duo-loss @GTown and at home to ND?
4) Picking Creighton and Illinois State out of the Missouri Valley Conference?!?!? Obviously, this blog was posted before the shakedown in the conference this past week. Cross out Creighton and Illinois State. Look for Drake to take the regular season title and to gain at at-large bid. Creighton and Illinois State only get in if they take the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament.
5) Illinois is better than I ever would of thought. They might play the best team basketball in the nation. They Just don't have that stud that wants to take over a game. They are going to beat Michigan today and jump in to the top 25. They will be at the top of the big ten and probably get a 5 seed in the dance.
6) Texas A&M will be seeded much higher than 11. They are 15-2 right now just handled Baylor i expect them to do some damage in the big 12 and be at least a 4 or 5 seed.
Thoughts???

1) You freakin' shittin me?! No MO in the big dance? You are off your rocker man! You have Okla, Texas, Baylor and Kansas out of the Big 12? Okla and Texas will be in, Kansas may squeak in and Baylor will probably choke down the stretch but may squeeze in anyway. BUT Mizzou will definitely be in and Nebraska and Oklahoma State have a fighting chance.
2) U gotta be kidding man! R u off ur rocker?! You only have 4 Big 12 teams? Okla and Tex will be in, Kans and Bayl maybe (if they don't choke down the stretch). But Mizzou will be in and Nebraska and Okla St have a chance. The Big 12 is a lot stronger than you think man...

Stanford has been pretty bad of late, but we didn't expect them to amount to much. Additionally, their early season victories were dominated by fluff.
Points 3 and 4 are moot.
* Even though it's a moot point now, we didn't see the 'Cuse losing to ND, because defense is optional in South Bend.
* Regarding Creighton, I still see them as the team to beat in the conference. Nice Drake pick btw. They only lost by 22 at home today.
* You may have a point with Illinois. They are 10th nationally in adjusted defensive efficiency and are a very good free throw shooting, which will help in close Big Ten grinders.
* Call me a hater, but I am not drinking the A&M Kool-Aid. They have a number of decent wins (Arizona, Baylor, LSU, @ Alabama), but nothing spectacular. I anticipated that they will come out empty-handed in a trio of games v. OU, @ Kansas and @ Texas. If they win two of those, they may move up 3 to 4 seed lines.

Dear Missouri fan boys,
Your school's best wins are against an overachieving Cal team in your building and underachieving USC in Puerto Rico. The Big XII may get a 5th team, but the league is top-heavy (4th in Conference RPI). Get a signature win and/or take care of business on the road and you're in the dance.
As a side note, I think Mike Anderson is a wonderful coach.
