Going into tonight's draft lottery, the two-headed monster of Derrick Rose and Michael Beasley are stealing headlines. Also, that team in New Orleans forgot to cover Manu Ginobili in a decisive Game 7 and paid for it. At least, they now have time to buy new rods. The Spurs played their signature lockdown defense and avoided a third-quarter collapse that proved symptomatic in their three previous games in The Big Easy.

  • One game separates the third (Minnesota) and sixth picks (New York). The sixth pick has a 25.5% chance of gaining a top 5 pick, whereas the third pick has a 95% of doing the same thing.
