For a few months, I've been looking for a great NBA blog, and I might've just found it. "True Hoop" by Henry Abbott does an awesome job in covering a host of league-wide issues.
If you've been following the Don Imus/Rutgers story and fallout, then I suggest reading this article by Jason Whitlock of the Kansas City Star (formerly, a regular on ESPN's The Sports Reporters). In it, Whitlock argues that black leaders should be focusing on the growing gangster culture rather than a poor attempt at humor by Don Imus. Regardless of your stance, it's a good and refreshing to see such frank speech in the real media.
Also, I'll be updating links for what seems like the first time in a few months. If there are any links that you know we're missing, then shoot me an email (phashemi@gmail.com).
