Statue of Liberty Gives Boise State Some Measure of Justice

Before this season, no one gave Boise State (13-0) a chance. Now, people, including myself, may want to revisit that belief after their 43-42 overtime victory over favored Oklahoma.

With that said, how much credibility does this give schools from non-BCS conferences who put together similar seasons?

If I had any inkling whatsoever that a Statue of Liberty might be called, I may have watched a Bowl Game this year.

Boise State is the George Mason of football. However, they still won't get the recognition that Mason got b/c there is no playoff. Mason showed everyone without a doubt they are top 4 in the country. Boise still has to rely on sports writers, voters and a BCS formula to show it.

Perhaps a playoff would solve this...
