To be safe, how many games must West Virginia win in their final 5 games?
What are your thoughts on Hofstra's shot right now? They beat VCU and ODU, the only two teams you have coming out of the same conference. Right now they are not in your next 8, would a win at ODU this week put them in your bracket?
Louisville just shocked the Big East and made a mockery of Pitt on their home floor. 8-4 in conference. They gotta be in!!!
pow
WVU needs 3 out of 4 and grab a win in the opening round of the Big East Tournament to be safe.
Hold your horses on Louisville - I love the emphatic road win and they've passed the eye test for the last month, but that is their 1st win against a team currently in the field of 65. That's pathetic for an at-large candidate from a school in a major conference.
Hofstra has little to no shot of making the tournament unless it wins in Richmond. They have the 4th highest RPI in the conference (RPI 71, SOS 154) behind VCU, Drexel, and ODU. Add 4 losses to sub-100 RPI teams and you have a team on the outside looking in.
How are the Illini not included and the Boilers are?
