The team has gelled quite well in January and early February.

Second, it pains me to say it, but Duke is pretty good and while I have yet to hear the annual line, "This season is Mike Krzyzewski's best coaching job ever", that may ring true. He's coaching to his players' strengths (athleticism, speed, pressure on the perimeter). They're a legitimate #2 seed and have to be considered favorites in the Dean Dome if Ty Lawson can't roll tonight. Should they win, they supplant UNC as a #1 seed.

That said, Duke's lack of an inside presence will cause them a myriad of problems tonight and into March. Perhaps, the blueprint will be established tonight.Paymonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04179522944078513967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34690815.post-90715952096908648172008-02-05T07:43:00.000-05:002008-02-05T07:43:00.000-05:00This Duke team doesn't really strike me as one of ...This Duke team doesn't really strike me as one of the stronger ones from years past. Yet they're a 2-seed ... does this speak to the level of teams as a whole this year? Or am I just underestimating the Blue Devils?Sumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13924464447289396808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34690815.post-35260204885949604512008-02-04T12:27:00.000-05:002008-02-04T12:27:00.000-05:00In the SEC, your seedings indicate that it's Tenne...In the SEC, your seedings indicate that it's Tennessee and then everyone else. Do you think Kentucky can emerge as the 2nd team?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
